The oldest commissioned warship afloat in the world, the USS Constitution - Old Ironsides - salutes the nation on the 4th of July Turnaround Cruise.

View the USS Constitution as she makes her annual voyage down the harbor.
11am-1pm - USS Constitution departs Charlestown Navy Yard to Castle Island - Old Ironsides gets underway to salute the nation.

Noon - 1pm - Salute to the Nation - off Castle Island, South Boston: USS Constitution fires her 21-gun salute.

12:05 - Salute to the Commonwealth: On the ramparts of Fort Independence, Castle Island, South Boston, Massachsetts fires its 19-gun salute. Followed by Turnaround and return.
Enjoy lunch and an historic narration at the museum as you watch the annual turnaround.
